You Can Make a Difference

If you don't think one individual

can make a difference,

try going to sleep

with a mosquito in the room.

African Proverb

Never doubt a small group

Thoughtful committed people can

change the world . . .

Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.

Adapted from Margaret Mead

I went to the 2nd day of my Team Building workshop this week and I'd like to share these quotes I encountered with you. You can apply it anywhere in life, within your family or group of friends, at work, or for the upcoming U.S. presidential election. That mosquito can be a good one or a bad one. I want to be a mosquito, a good one, who can make an impact to other peoples' lives. I also want to be a part of that small group who can help come up with a solution for the good of a larger community. How about you?

I ran across this post and it is so true! We need to be reminded that we each CAN make a difference! Thank you for reminding us. The Starfish Story is another incredible reminder as well. I've made a difference in the life of Umazi, an 11 yr old little girl in Uganda, by simply purchasing my everyday products through a particular manufacturer of safe, highly effective personal care products. Very simple.
